Outta The Box

In doing some cleaning out I recently came across a box taped shut. Inside were many memories of days gone by. Why would I have saved these? I do not know, but it did conjure some memories of dancing, singing and cruising around to some of these cassette tapes:

and these:

That's quite an eclectic mix there. Can you tell what ones I really played hard?
To those who saw one of your favorites in that group,
to those that are now going to search itunes to download and oldie but goodie,
to those that are now singing one of these songs in your head and remember all the words
and to those that remember David Lee Roth in war paint.....
In the words of ACDC, "We salute you"!

Ah - - - if that were us it would have been a box of 8-tracks. You're probably too young to even REMEMBER those!

For years we did have a box of hubby's old vinyls - - - now that REALLY dates us.

OMG! I knew I loved you for a reason! I'm sure I have a taped up box somewhere with the exact same lineup!

P.S. My first EVER concert was AC/DC!

Awesome find. I made a discovery like this a few years ago and sadly parted ways with my collection from the past.

My wife keeps a rather large collection of cassette tapes herself and my son, who is 12, looks at them like they are ancient relics. He can't imagine life without CD's. I haven't tried to explain 8-tracks to him yet.

Keetha- I do remember 8 tracks, though they were kinda on their way out as I became aware. And vinyals-that there are found memories there. I still have my 45 collection. My dad still has his albums too. Great vintage sound.

Mrs Schmitty- I saw them to a few times. They were great. They still make me want to dance anytime I listen.

Tammy-thats my plan too.

Terri- No female rocked a guitar like Nancy Wilson, except maybe Lita.

Susan-Great minds rock alike.

Beach bum-I dont think he would understand. LOL!

Drama Mama- You know it! Still love them both! There's alot of heart in the song Snowbird....

Charnita-I used to have that shirt too. Got it at a concert in MOntgomery. I could kick myself for tossing my t shirt collection I used to have way back when. Some great concert t's that I wish I had made into a quilt. And it would eb a compliment to me, not so much you. LOL!

Kirby, they are going into my donation box in my garage.

J- that sounds fun! If you cant go, be sure and blast the cd while you work at the lake house! LOove the song, "I remember you!"
