I need a Remedy! I need some Hairapy!

Do ya'll remember the hairapy post? Well yesterday I had a total and complete hair on my head breakdown. You know, the kind where you sob uncontrollably. It doesn't happen to me often-the sobbing anyway, the fretting yes, but no cry, I mean, after all, it's only hair.
But I got THE wake up call yesterday in looking at the pics from Freddy and Zinnia's house....

Hello, people! Yeah, you! If you are my friend, either in real life or the blogger world, then be one and say, "Chicky you need some hair help!" Get together a hair intervention. Something.
Don't just sit there, reading, looking....laughing, gawking?
Yes, I am a train wreck. And you, just a rubbernecker.
Do you see the cabinetry in the background in this photo taken at the Sanchez's?

Have mercy, people! It's the same lightly stained oak color as my hair!!! And I can also see the grey peeking out from the sides, though I attempted in vain to cover it up like a phony. And it sure didn't helpstanding next to the beautiful Zinnia, Warrior Princess!
My hair in that picture-It's unsightly, ghastly, deeeeeeee-spicable....And I greeted the world, daily, in such a way. Heaven forbid!!!
I need a remedy, I need some hairapy! (sung to the song Remedy by the Black Crowes)
So, I got up on Tuesday morn, and I went to the hair salon to try and get what I wanted. I had "consultations" and finally when I put my head in the hands of the stylist, I still didn't get exactly what I wanted. I brought in this picture for the color that I wanted.

Can you see the thick bold streaks of blond? My stylist, not so much. I wanted bold. THICK.
I also gave your pictures, you know the ones you all sent in for the makeover suggestions for the CUT (click hairapy above in this post if you have forgotten. BTW-I am still in awe of the photoshop skills here by Charnita (top) and Hewy (bottom) as well as The Roaming Southerner-click):

I mentioned the pink hair......you know, for the "midlife crisis", (I'm not not really going through a mid life crisis. I will save that for the men of the world. I just would like one pink streak..)but she didn't have it in her salon...a salon who caters to women-uh-more of my age. And apparently "they" do not go through midlife crisis's (is that a word, plural?) where women ask for pink strands, like I do.
But aside from the streaks not being quite as wide, I must thank Susan my magic wo-man for cleaning up after the wreckage and making somewhat presentable to the world.....at least my little world.
So this is what I have.....the "Martina" (again).....don't you love my statuette (household amonia-the award of many housemoms) and glam? LOL! Dang! Where were my scrubbing rubber gloves....

Charnita- (lying down on the floor, rolling around, whining) But I wanted BIG wide streaks. Uh, huh.....sniff, sniff.

The next time you're in Indiana, we could send you to my daughter number two - - - she is FAB with hair.

BUT - - - I've never seen your hair looking anything but adorable on your blog.

Call Jan Casey at A&W Salon in English Village ... 870-8575 ... she is about the same price as the novices, and I've used her for five years and NEVER had a disappointment! THAT'S saying a LOT for me! A woman IS her hair ... and Jan is awesome!

jI have no idea what you just said, but the payoff was the photo at the end, with you holding the Publix brand cleaner and looking proud as punch.
