Cruising the Coves of Abaco's by Catamaran

The biggest perk about being a freelance writer has been writing travel articals. I get to go on vacation for free with my family and try out some great vacation spots. Many times, included in the vacation package are restaurant passes or passes for local entertainment junkets. It is alot of fun for not only myself, but also my family. I think that it is fun to be a "investigator" for families on the search of fun vacation spots.
Last night I was watching a TV show on TLC . A family was vacationing on a chartered catamaran for a week. All I could think about was how can I manage to secure a chartered private catamaran for a week with my family for free? What a dream this would be.

I am currently trying to Convince Big Daddy to quit his job and move to Abaco, Bahama's, buy a boat and do this for a living. Can you imagine? Hard life, huh?

A day sail can be any one of the days below, or just a day of sailing! We can pick you up on Elbow Cay, Man O War or Marsh Harbour.
If you are on a Captained by day charter, your Captain will meet you aboard each morning and depart each afternoon so your group can enjoy the boat to yourselves. You will have a nice outboard powered dinghy for your use each evening. Our captains are either picked up and dropped off each day or tow a fast power skiff to come and go.
This is a sample 1-week cruise itinerary. Shorter and longer cruises are also available.

Meet at a Marina in Marsh Harbour. After settling you into the boat, looking at the charts of the area, getting weather forecasts and we will come up with a cruise plan that fits your wants and the weather perfectly. Then an afternoon swim or walk on the beach. With the first evening stargazing from the cockpit!
Sail to Guana Cay and get a mooring or a dock. Then your off to the beaches of for snorkeling, sunning and swimming, later that day(Sunday) there is a pig roast on the beach at Nippers
Sail south stopping at Foul Cay Underwater Park, then out to the reef for some snorkeling. An afternoon sail south again to Man o war Cay and go dock side. The next day you spend exploring the sail shop, boat builders, and shops of the Cay, then a swim at the beach. Later on I show up and we sail to Hope Town and get a mooring.
Explore Hope Town, or out to lunch, checking the museum, then a nice dinner at one of the restaurants in town, and some local bars for a drink or two.
Sail south to Tahiti Beach swim, snorkel and do some fishing then a nice dinner onboard. This is a great anchorage for dingy exploring.

Explore further south dive Sandy Cay Park, Shell Tilloo Bank, or explore the artists settlement Little Harbour. Moore at Lubbers or Tahaiti Beach.
Back to Marsh Harbour for your departure.

Do they have Internet access? If so, maybe Tom will do this. He needs to be able to play his games!
