I also participate in Tablescape Thursday the host of that fun carnival is the Hostess with the Mostess...Susan of Between Naps on the Backporch. That's no lie or exaggeration, each week I visit Susan's porch and just long to be a guest at any of her tablescapes...especially those held on the porch.

**Thrifty Thursday Flashback**
This is my Thrifty Bathroom. This is the bathroom that my "tween" kids share. With a boy and a girl, I wanted something gender neutral and friendly. Something that was "Happy & Sunny". Of course, it ended up having some beachy influences.
The Shower Curtain was a Thrift Store find. It is from Pottery Barn. The palm trees and clouds are all chenille. It cost me $2.88

The pictures in the mirror refection came from a garage sale. Sorry I didn't get any closer shots. The pictures are travel themed prints featuring old maps and compases. The basket on the toilet is another thrift store find, 39 cents. It holds travel/guest soaps and shampoo's.

I purchased this lamp (below) at Old Time Pottery for less than 10 bucks. I liked the fact that it looked like a lantern. My kids use it to light the way to the bathroom at night, should they get up.
The seashell box (I love these things) was a 59 cent thrift store find. It alsoholds travel hand soaps.

These glass jars that look like old apothocary jars came from one of my favorite stores in Homewood, Three Sheets. I had eyeballed them for quite awhile. When they were put on clearance, I snapped them up. One is filled with beach glass, the other found seashells.

This shelf came from Home Goods. It was a clearance item. It cost me $7.00
Inside I keep more travel sized toiletry items, as well as children;s tylenol and the like, so that if we have a nighttime emergency or illness, I have those products on hand.

On Friday I plan to feature some of my Thrifty Thursday contributors, so be certain to drop by on Friday! It is all of YOU who make THIS a PARTY!!!!!

Now, onto to Tablescape Thursday, which is hosted by Susan of Between Naps on the Porch.

This is no flashback....this is realtime...and reminds me of summer

All of these products can be found at Harmony Landing in Homewood, Alabama.

What is a tablescape without the food? I invite you to stop by my food blog, PLATES & PLACES, tomorrow for Foodie Friday!

HI Leigh, I love that tablesetting. In fact when I looked at it I had a 'moment'...I realized how much I loved your placemat with the design on it and I realized I don't have any placemats with printed fabric...everything I have is solid. Thus....I need to get some printed placemats. Your setting is just stunning! Hope you are well!
Blessings,
Debbie
