Do you remember the post I did last November on my Hallway GalleryTour?
It showcased my gallery frames that featured photography, sentimental papers, even a few fun things thrown in.
If you missed it, I hope you might check it out. I am still very proud of how is came out.
I have been seeing that look incorporated many places now, and thought I would share some photographs with you of different adaptations of that look that can be used in other areas of a home.
In my living room, barnwood frames and architectural piece combination:
Just make it your own. I love using children's artwork, game boards and/or textiles to make it interesting.
Id love to see your gallery displays. Email me a photo, Id love to share it on TFB.

I love these ideas! I have been trying to do a similar sort of thing too. These ideas are great-thank you!
Best wishes,
Natasha.
Hi
I have something similar going on up the staircase wall. None of the frames match but the subjects are all dogs in one form or another.
Love the barnwood frames.

That post is the one that made me think of doing something similar. It's taken a while, but we've gone through our old pictures (like grandparents, parents...) and I plan to get them reprinted and framed. Now I'm on the search for frames and we want to hang them above our piano. When we get done, (It will take awhile!) I'll do a post on it.
Leigh, we've actually been working on putting together the pieces for a gallery on our staircase. Yours is FABULOUS!!

What great timing. I am moving in June and trying to figure out what I want to do to the walls with all my special things. Kat gave me our last name in photos (each later is part of a gate)...really cool...she got it in Charleston....and I can't wait to hang it in the parsonage.
Love all your pictures vignettes. Thanks for sharing....... have a great day!
Your stairway gallery is beautiful, Leigh.
I love all the inspiration photos. For one reason and another, I have just about decided to do a gallery wall in the dining room, where the botanicals are. Your post is a huge help!
I love the ideas..thus why I did the same here down the stairs!!! Now I will need to copy the big letter!!!
I love those galleries! I'm framing some of my photos and hanging them. I really like the way it personalizes my home!
Wall galleries are so popular now, I think you started the trend, Leigh. I love what you did going up your stairs. It beats out all the other photos! Seriously!

Beautiful. It looks wonderful! I have always loved wall galleries. They have always reminded me of stately European homes. My mother has always hung everything in groups like this as well, so maybe it just reminds me of my childhood.
Very Inspiring.
