Creating Summer Vignettes using Vases and Urns

I love to use glass vases and urns to decorate! It really is such a versatile look, by just changing out the contents you have a whole new look. In winter I love to use glass seasonal balls, in fall I will use a seasonal fruit, like apples. For Spring, I use lemons for a punch of bright color. But summer..... summer I love to use natural elements like rocks, sticks (driftwood I collected from Ft Morgan)  and of course my favorites: sand and shells. When paired with candles, it really is a perfect look for any decor.



















To achieve these results it really is easy:

1.Mix sizes and shapes of glass for interest: Group multiple sized vases and urns for a striking entryway display or for a twist on a centerpiece. I also love to use this look on a coffee table or bedside table.

2.Create Drama: Use large vessels filled with oversized branches or blooms for a dramatic display on a dining table or console.

3. Add candlelight: Combine candleholders with vases to add variety, texture and a warm glow.
