To achieve these results it really is easy:
1.Mix sizes and shapes of glass for interest: Group multiple sized vases and urns for a striking entryway display or for a twist on a centerpiece. I also love to use this look on a coffee table or bedside table.
2.Create Drama: Use large vessels filled with oversized branches or blooms for a dramatic display on a dining table or console.
3. Add candlelight: Combine candleholders with vases to add variety, texture and a warm glow.
Below I have an example of how you can create that Pottery Barn look using discount materials, as well as freebies you can find outside while walking on the beach or hiking in the mountains. Click on the photo to see the dollar breakdown.
I would love to see your glass vase creations, email me a photo and I will share in an upcoming post!
My friend High Maintenance shared a fun post about our day together on Saturday. Click here to visit and see the "trouble" we got into. Be sure to leave her a comment. She's pretty new to blogging. I have been telling her how amazing bloggers are. Check her out.

I love these! I have something similar on my table, that I change out depending on the season.
I have several of these I've fixed from shells and sand we collected on vacation at Gulf Shores- I love them and can't wait to go back and gather more!

See, that's why I thought of you that day at the estate sale!
I planned on doing something similar for my summer mantle. Maybe I can play with it Monday and get a photo to you.
