There could not have been any nicer weather this past weekend, especially considering it's February. The temperatures climbed close to 70 degrees today, so we loaded the kids into the car.
And the dogs.
Rolled down the windows and enjoyed the breeze.....
And we drove to a spot not far from our house, that has some great hiking trails.
I will share more of those pictures on Outdoor Wednesday.
In other news....I am on a committee that is planning a fundraiser for our next Senator, Cam Ward. The event will be held Monday night at Magnolia Manor in Helena.
Here is just a sneak peek inside. I cannot wait to share more about our reception. I hope to get pictures loaded for a Tuesday post, but that depends on what time I get in Monday evening. In the meantime, enjoy the view from under the big tent....

We had a great weather day yesterday too, but 70?! Wow! No hiking for us though-this house was decimated by a nasty bug and everyone was wiped out. Great post- I look forward to the pictures

I can't begin to tell you how jealous I am hearing it was close to 70 degrees and seeing your husband in shorts!!! We got around 6" of snow yesterday and today school was called off because of the weather...temps below average all week....can I come stay with you????
Have a wonderful week.

Happy Margarita Day~
70 degrees??? Could you please define that? We don't know what that is up here.
I loved the weekend...it was awesome weather...now all I need to complete bliss is flip flops and a beach somewhere.
Hello Leigh ~I wanted to stop by to reconnect. I've had a few absences from blogging and have lost touch with some of my friends.
Since winter landed on our doorstep...it provided us the motivation for a few indoor remodeling projects...in two homes! Which can be a bit daunting. So, I appreciate the breaks I get for blog visits.
It's been unusually sunny here too, but welcomed with opened arms.
Looks like you're enjoying the winters sunshine too.
It's wonderful how generous blog friends as yourself can be, that's why I love returning the gesture, by sharing cooking or DIY ideas.
I hope you can stop by so we can reacquaint ourselves.
Sweet wishes,
Sara
Looks like a fun car ride!!!
Magnolia Manor looks beautiful!
