Outdoor Wednesday-Plus a Reminder!

Today is Wednesday and we all know that that means.....it's a great day to be outdoors!

I shared these pictures earlier this week, but for those that missed them, my outdoors was recently spent in the country. While the trip was an antiquing/thrifting excursion, for me it became, as it often does, a time for my photography. I hope you enjoy these pictures "from the country".

I also played outdoors on a recent paid photography shoot for a prom. I took the portraits at a local park. It was a beautiful day! The people were beautiful. the clothes beautiful. To view these click here for more outdoor photos from this week. The prom pictures are featured on my photography blog, Photographic Memories.

Happy Outdoor Wednesday!
To see more outdoor post visit our gracious host, Susan at A Southern Day Dreamer!
I want to remind everyone about Thrifty Thursday, happening here at Bloggeritaville tomorrow.
Thrifty Thursday is a show and tell of sorts. It is time for you to showcase your thrifty find. It can be an old find or a new one. It might be something that you found at a thrift store, a consignment store, flea market, garage/yard sale, dumpster diving, even antique stores. It's it was a thrifty find, then it meets the requirements.I am not picky, It can be a great pair of boots & a killer vintage dress, jewelry, home decor, even fishing lures. It is your thrifty find. Tell me about it.Where did you find it? What is it? What do you plan to do with it or how do you plan to use it in your home? Do you want to sell it? Thrifty Thursday's are about the thrill of the hunt...and the treasure you found.

So....do show and tell! Be sure to grab a button and link back.

Don't forget to come back here tonight at 8PM and paste your direct hyperlink to your Thrifty Thursday post here at Mr. Linky.

Have a fabulous day, y'all! Leave me a "roadmap".

Leigh, I just love all of your pictures. Those are WONDERFUL outdoor shots, and I particularly enjoyed the picture of those wonderful climbing white flowers (are they roses?) next to the barn with the tractor.

And the prom pics are great, too. Loved the way you staged the one with the pretty dresses alternating with the black tuxes. Looks great!

Happy OW...

Sheila :-)

okay so after I looked at the pictures I went back and looked at your profile. "this gal has got to be a photographer" I thought. Who else would frame a cow like that? Really that was the final clue, I looked at that cow and thought "Wow! A perfectly framed cow portrait." and I love it, love it. Very nice. I love the idea of Thrifty Thursday so I'm going to have to be thinking!!! and how very cool to go on an "antiqueing excursion". That sounds fun!

I love those pics. The old roses are so pretty and it looks like they could have been there 100 years ago. Maybe the cow too! Thanks for sharing these great pics!

Beautiful...the Queen's Anne Lace reminds me of the back country of Colorado. We can have some around here but not very large. They are so pretty.

Great photos.

Our weather is finally shaping up...at least for today and tomorrow and then more rain.

Well, Spring in the Northeast requires a lot of rain!

Have a Wonderful Wednesday!

Hey! I had just come in from spending some time outdoors when I read your blog. Although I don't like to be dirty, sweaty, or bug biten... being outside is good for the soul.

Have a blessed day!
