Frugal Fashionista Fashion Show

Jen is hosting a Frugal Fashionista Fashion Show. This is your opportunity to browse around and see all the fashion treasures that everyone has been finding at yard sales, thrift stores, and consignment sales. If you have read my blog for any amount of time, you know then that this is right up my alley. I hate to shop retail anymore. And if you look, you can find some really great quality merchandise at yard sales and thrifting. Here is just a very small sampling of my finds.

I came across a great clothing garage sale by a lady that owns a consignment shop (which I have been to before). This is a great consignment shop with designer duds at great prices. Much of which goes to charity. I got a pair of jeans, 2 sweaters and a pair of shoes (with the $79.99 Harrod's price tag still attached) all for $10.00.

One of my favorite finds was this Betsey Johnson bag! I spoke of it and the finds following my bag on a Thrifty Thursday post a couple weeks ago. For those that missed it who are playing along on the fashion show, here it is.

It was marked $10.00 but I got it for $8.00. I knew that even at $10 it was a fantastic bargain. I love it for it's rocker style....and it's a Betsey! I got home and looked it up online. It is a new product.

I am so happy with my bargain!!!!! It will be perfect for toting my books, magazines and snacks around come wrestling season.

I also found myself some black Ann Taylor pants, with the $98.00 tag still on them for $3.00! I got them for $2.00! I also bought this cute Chico top for $2.00 (below) as well as a black top from Black and White Market for $1.00. The chico top is very Stevie Nicks-ish. Can't wait to twirl round and round in it giving my best Nicks impression. LOL!
