Birds on Holiday

Susan, at Between Naps on the Porch, suggested we give our Target bird salt and pepper shakers a holiday. The challenge was to follow the birds and capture them in environments, away from their usual element.

I was so happy to see the birds on holiday arrive at my home in Helena. I looked outside and saw them perched on my deck.

I opened my window and in they flew. They were in town visiting friends. Their first stop was with their very close Mrs. Sally Loudermilk Chicadee

Mrs. Sally had great news....she was exciting a new arrival anyday.
They enjoyed the visit with Mrs. Sally and soon left so that she could tend to her nest.
From Mrs. Sally's home, they stopped in for the Easter service at church.
It was a wonderful service! They sang and sang in praise.
Following church, it was off to see Mrs. Charolett Ann, a longtime friend.Charlotte was surprised at their visit.
She was eager to catch up on the gossip who's tail feathers were recently tufted and who was had flown the coop.
"Really? You don't say?"
That Charlotte loves to be in the know.
Soon enough, it was off to the garden home of Eloise and Ted Robiner
There they dined on a feast of juicy worms and sunflower seeds. Soon enough, it was time to move on and pay visits to other places. It was then that they landed briefly on the window seal before that bid ado and were off to other exciting places...on holiday.
To see other stops, drop by Susan, at Between Naps on the Porch. From there you can follow the birds to other (more exciting) places.
My contribution for Outdoor Wednesday is this little turtle seen below. He was sunning himself on a log in my friend, Diva's pond.

I want to remind everyone about Thrifty Thursday. Thrifty Thursday is a show and tell of sorts. It is time for you to showcase your thrifty find. It can be an old find or a new one. It might be something that you found at a thrift store, a consignment store, flea market, garage/yard sale, dumpster diving, even antique stores. It's it was a thrifty find, then it meets the requirements. I am not picky, It can be a great pair of boots & a killer vintage dress, jewelry, home decor, even fishing lures. It is your thrifty find. Tell me about it.Where did you find it? What is it? What do you plan to do with it or how do you plan to use it in your home? Do you want to sell it? Thrifty Thursday's are about the thrill of the hunt...and the treasure you found. So....do show and tell!Be sure to grab a button and link back. Also, don't forget to come back here tonight at 8PM and paste your direct hyperlink to your Thrifty Thursday post here at Mr. Linky (assuming he will be nice tonight).
You must comment under the giveaway post to be entered.
Good luck!
