Big Daddy n Me

The Husband MeMe
Today is Friday! I thought I would have a little fun today. Georgie recently had this on her blog. I thought it was cute.
The hubby meme with a twist... I answered the questions first. After I answered, I asked Big Daddy the question. Let's see how we did....

1. What is something your husband always says to you?
Love You Babe!
Big Daddy's answer- "Love you, babe!"
Yes, he is good like that.

2. What makes your husband happy?
An organized home, $$ in the bank accounts, World of Warcraft/computer game time, frugal spending, a good meal
Big Daddy's answer-"food"
I guess it is true what they say about a man....the fastest way to a man's heart is through his stomach.

3. What makes your husband sad?
Unorganization. The stock market these days.
Big Daddy's answer-"Sunday nights/Monday's"
True. He is happy to have a job, but dreams of retirement.

4. What was your husband like as a teen?
He had eyes that smiled. A laugh that was infectious, much like he is today. Though back then he enjoyed being around people, going to parties, social things. That he hates today. He is not a social butterfly. He was on the wrestling team and loved to wrestle. Worked hard at it.
Big Daddy's answer-"fun and exciting."
LOL! What modesty!

5. How old is your husband ?
38, same as me. We went to school together from sixth grade onto high school graduation
Big Daddy's answer-"38"
I couldn't miss this, we graduated together and our birthday's are only a month apart.

6. What is his favorite thing to do?
computer or read books, watch movies, family time, eat
Big Daddy's answer-"play computer"
There was a reason I put it at numbero uno....look at me, indulging myself with dillusions of family. LOL! He has his priorities.....

8. What does your hubby do when you're not around?
the same thing he does when I am around. He loves his computer games. Nerd.
Big Daddy's answer-"play computer"
Um, hmm. Nerd.

9. If your husband becomes famous, what will it be for?
Creating his own computer game. Or for a creating websites, computer forensics, etc. A great data processing form on som ecopany website? LOL. Something related. Maybe for that great baseball card he has held onto thinking it would pay our house note. LOL. I say for being a great Big Daddy.
Big Daddy's answer-"playing computer"
Yes, there IS a definante trend here.

10. What is your husband really good at?
Computers. Organization. He is extremely smart. Wrestling. Making me laugh. Irritating me with great intention.
Big Daddy's answer-"playing computer"
See what I mean?

11. What is your husband not very good at?
Carpentry (boo hoo), completing task that I ask of him (timely), mechanics of a automobile, painting
Big Daddy's answer-"fixing stuff around the house"
Darn tootin! Is it wrong to fantasize of Big Daddy and a toolbelt?

12. What does your husband do for a job?
He is a computer dude.
Big Daddy's answer-"computer programmer"
At least it pays the bills. I always say, do what you love, love what you do.

13. What is your husbands favorite food?
Gumbo, Prime Rib, Steak, Roast Beef, Stroganoff, Beef Tips and Rice,
Big Daddy's answer-"chinese"
I was way off. I knew this answer like I know my name. He HAS to have it at least once a week.

14. What makes you proud of your husband?
That he is such a hard worker-never complains that I don't have a full time job and actually enjoys spending time with his family
Big Daddy's answer-"paying the bills."
True. I don't want to be homeless.

15. If your husband were a cartoon character, who would he be?
Fred Flinstone. And he kinda looks like him too. Smile.
Big Daddy's answer-"Foghorn Leghorn"
I can see that, but I would say he is more of a Fred Flinestone.
If you decide to play along, let me know so that I can swing by and see how you did.

My husbands name is Tom Legg - so he's always been called Tomhorn Legghorn so if I had to answer this he'd be that, too. Funny how many of these I've seen where the husband picks ol' foghorn.

I love the computer theme. LOL I think nearly the same thing would happen over here.

That was great.. You know your right about Tom's smile. That is one thing that I do remember about him in high school was his smile. I think I am going to do the same thing and then go home and ask Jason to see if I get any right. I so need to have a garage sale. What kind of goodies are you selling? Where do you live? I have all 3 boys this weekend, so not sure if I could swing by, but I love me some garage selling.. Hope you do well.

I just finished mine! Give me a few minutes to include the recipe for Chicken Stuff (Foodie Friday post) and it'll be complete.

Loved reading about Big Daddy and can't wait to meet him in "real life" someday! He's gotta be a pretty cool dude to pick up a rock star roller derby queen like you!

My husband is working hard to get a better job so that I can stay home with our new additions this summer. All he wants in return? A warm meal to come home to. It's fair, I think. :) You have yourself a good man, there.

Good luck with your garage sale. My friend Susie and her daughter had one in Eagle Point a couple of weeks ago, and she didn't even make $100. People weren't buying.

What does your husband do for a job?
He is a computer dude.
Big Daddy's answer-"computer programmer"
I can trace several of my current mental issues for having to take COBOL 1 and 2 to get a programming certificate I never use. This classes about drove me crazy.
