HGTV Dream Home

Have you had a chance to check out the HGTV Dream Home yet?
The beautiful and stately home, this year is located in Sonoma, California. Think world-class cuisine and vineyards, inviting inns and hotels — the town of Sonoma epitomizes California wine-country culture.

I have entered every year for the past ten years. And I have entered every day of each time frame for that year. I know. I am a bit obsessed. But you'd think by now I would have gotten lucky. All it takes it one time. I keep thinking one day it's gonna pay off big.
I tell ya, if I win...I am having one big blogger party-and you're all invitedUp the odds of that blogger party by entering yourself. Click Here.
Remember you can enter once a day by re-entering your e-mail address on the ENTER PAGE through February 19 at 5pm ET. Click Here

Hey, Leigh, I'll have to go and enter that one!

No, I didn't design that room, wish I had! It's an online photo from Rowe.com that I had saved & that's my familyroom sofa in the pic. I went back & added that just to clarify.

I seem to enter every day for about three days in a row, then forget for a few days. Thanks for the reminder, I think it'd been about three days lol

I expect to win as well. When I do, I'll let you plan the party, sounds like you have a plan already! hahaahahaha

That house is spectacular. But I don't want to live in California. Besides, if I had that house, I'd have to hire someone to clean it.

Thanks for the reminder!! My sister enters every year, but she may have forgotten about it this year, b/c I haven't gotten my annual email about it from her! They are always such beautiful homes!!

Not to be negative, but I wonder what the taxes on that house would be, it would come under the excess tax codes, and I bet it would be in the 48% bracket, then you have to sell it to pay the taxes, If you could sell it in this market

Yes, if any of us wins...winner throws a blogger party!

Keetha- You dont have to live in it. Sell it, make some $$. Then you can hhire a maid for your own home!

Linda- You can see show times as well as enter on the HGTV.com website.

Anon- I hear ya...but if I won it I would sell it...due to location. Now had I won the home in NC in the mountains or the one in Islamadora, Fl., Rosemary Beach.... Would have kept those. I would want to go through if I sold and pick out new furniture for my home. Sell off a dream home and pay off my home and get a small beah house to retire to.....it gets my brain to daydreaming of all the possibilities!

I have been so entering! I would probably just rent out the house if I didnt sell it.

Now THAT really is a dream home to me. A PORCH! I adore a big front porch. We have a stoop right now. Stoop. Stoop - Gah! I don't even like how the words sound. I could really enjoy a house like that!!
