Response to Reader Questions

Nancy from North Carolina had a question regarding the Ashley Macs Strawberry Cake...if it was able as an item for shipping. Ashley Mac responded by saying, "Thank you so much for writing. The main problem with our iced cakes is the delicate cream cheese icing- many companies add white chocolate and other things to harden the icing so it will ship better. But we are trying to maintain the high quality of our cakes while shipping which has proven to be a hard task! So, as of now we are only shipping our triple chocolate brownies." And let me remind everyone that the brownies make wonderful Valentines gifts. I cannot think of a better thing....chocolate shaped like a box of love. Ummm, hmm! Nancy-and everyone else who is interested-be checking the Ashley Macs website for information when they might start shipping their strawberry cake.

I had several readers inquire about a Valentine swap that I am a part of in bloggeritaville. Actually, Heidi over at Foxgloves, Fabric and Folly (great blog) is hosting it. I believe that swap is closed, but she does have another two in existence. Currently she is accepting folks for a "Winter Basics and Baubles Swap". More details on that swap are right here. She will also be hosting an Easter swap in the near future, so bookmark her blog and be checking for further information. This is a fun way of discovering some great blogs. It is much like a "secret santa". It's alot of fun. Be sure to tell Heidi that Leigh of Bloggeritaville sent you!

Thank you all for your questions. Usually I try and respond to each comment within the comment section, but as of late I feel as though I have been burning the candle at both ends. I thought the best way to respond would be to do it in a post so it wouldn't be overlooked.
Thank you all for your comments. Comments are gold. It's like going to the mailbox and getting cards and letters and not a single bill. Good day! So you Lurkers, delurk! It is also a way for me to stop by your blog and pay a visit. As I often say, I love my friends-both old and new!

Finally, a DO know what comes on Tuesday night? American Idol!!! And in March...Dancing with the Stars! Woot. Woot!
Have a great day!

I thought about being involved in a valentines day swap, but the thought of not being able to eat the chocolates that I'd love to send and receive - it was too much to bear. So I'm just going to skip the chocolaty swaps.

American Idol was on last night??? No way - I looked all over for it & I didn't see it!! sheesh. What type of reality show junkie am I to miss opening day of AI.
