For locals....We had our last parade committee meeting last night at Incahoots (Did I just hear Hewy and his gang of poker sharks shout a yahoo?). It looks like all is ago for the big day this Saturday.
As mentioned before, Tom Lefebvre is Grand Marshall this year. There will be mardi gras beads flying!

HELENA'S CHRISTMAS PARADE
(the theme) ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS.......
Saturday December 6th
PARADE TIME 2:00 PM (this is terrible for U of A fans, as I am aware. It hurts me!!!But put on some ear buds, listen to the game and enjoy a parade)
LINEUP starts at 12:30 get there early!
All floats to be judged prior to the start of the Parade.
All parade participants will be in the Winn Dixie Parking lot ,Publix Parking lot and CVS parking lot. Participants will be directed on where to line up at by the Parade Committee in the Winn Dixie Lot.
ALL FLOATS Need to be BEHIND WINN DIXIE
ALL PELHAM HIGH SCHOOL, BAND, CHEERLEADERS, BEAUTY QUEENS ETC, IN CVS PARKING LOT.
Car Groups-Publix
Parade route-starting at the end of 17 going down 261 into Old Towne turning before railroad tracks onto 2nd street.
Grand Stand will be in front of Helena Baptist Church.
If that isn't fun enough, my friend Terri will be making Christmas CD's to give away Saturday during Open House/Parade. Spread the word and stop by her shop in Old Town Helena! While you are there, pick up a gift certificate for someone on your Christmas list. Terri is famous for her massages!
