Tres Chic' Garden Trellis Wall Art

Soooooo, you're looking for something different to fill up a wall space. Something unique.
My sister in law's mother, Cindy, is a decorator with ideas. Fabulous ideas. And she takes those ideas and works them out on a budget. She thrift shops. She shops sales, she shops discount outlets, she shops and digs and finds things that I would probably walk on past.
Take for example the wall art she created for my brother and sister in law's bedroom.

I was commissioned to take portraits of my nieces and brother and sis-in-law.
They chose to do portraits at the beach, but really, you can use any sort of photography.

Then Cindy took the portraits, found some inexpensive frames
(I think she got these at Fred's, which is a store much like Dollar General) .

Here is where the fabulously uniqueness comes in that is truly Cindy.

She went to Walmart and purchased a regular wooden garden trellis.
She took the trellis home and stained it in a dark brown and allowed it to dry. Then she took the picture frames... using the nail holder on back of the frames, she took gauged wire and wired the frame to the trellis.

She allowed room so that the pictures would pull out at an angle, creating a dimensional effect, that she wanted.

She put two heavy duty nails into the wall and rested the trellis onto the nails.
Wah-la!

Fabulous Artwork to fill a wall. Artwork that is both unique and personal.

You could work the trellis either diagonal or horizontal.
Use it in a den, a bedroom, over a sofa...the possibilities are endless.
And it looks FAB-U-LOUS!
