Fall, literally at the Doorsteps in Cowan Tennessee as well as a look in my neck of the Woods

The small town of Cowan, Tennessee really gets into decorating their town for fall's arrival. Every single door of every business in town was decorated with it's own version of fall decor.
I snapped a few photos as we drove through town...

And back here in Alabama, rain has been falling lightly since yesterday, with some thunderstorms expected this evening. With it, most of the beautiful leaves have been stripped from the tree branches. I took these pictures on Wednesday before the rain blew in..

Here is another one of those "glowing" trees...

Leaves are falling!
And here is where all those leaves are now....

Perfect to rake and jump in!
Have a wonderful weekend! Enjoy the weather with those you love.

Fall is beautiful there. I love all the decorations. I don't think I've ever seen a town decorate for Fall but I love it! It supposed to snow here this weekend - enough for accumulation!

The pictures of the leaves are so pretty! We don't really get that much here in Texas. I wish we did!

I finally got to see the photos! They were worth waiting for!

My fav is the green doors with the basket wreath. As drawn to pairs and symmetry as I am, it would have looked like a fall foliage bra if they had repeated that look on each door.

Gorgeous photos!!!!
