Join in the fun! Saturday, August 2 our Second Annual Great tomato Contest.
Bring your entries by 9:45am to enter the contest. To print a copy of the entry form click here http://www.petalsfromthepast.com/second_annual_great_tomato_conte.htm. At 10:30 a.m. Chip East, Regional Extension Agent, will talk about how to grow really great tomatoes in your back yard. Prizes include $50.00 gift certificate, Felco Clippers, an Earth Box, fertilizer and soil amendments and much more. There will be lots of dishes made with tomatoes for you to taste. Come, learn and have fun!
August 9, Debbie Boutelier will host a lunch and cooking class entitled Cooking and Preserving Herbs. There is a limit of 25 participants and the fee is $20.00. Don’t be left out, make your reservations today.
