After-sort of...I still have three drawers to do and as you can see, the bottom of the cabinets at the floor. It will come, today.

Room Makeover-Kitchen
I am a spontaneous person. When I get a notion to do something, I want it done right then. Yesterday morning it was my kitchen cabinets. I wanted them black. I think. I went to the hardware store when the kids left for school and bought paint. I do think it looks better. Sleek and steamlined. Before it didn't match my stainless appliances or my black sink. My kichen floor is grey

Umm, I can't believe that you just decided to paint your cabinets black and DID it! My husband would have shot me. Seriously. Holy cow. But they do look great!
There are many times that he would love to, but for the most part he has come to accept it and know that I will do it. I think he is just thankful that I didn't involve him. LOL!
I did open a can of worms with the cabinets. More detail than I remembered from the first time I painted them.
niiiiice. it took us like eight months to paint our stupid cabinets white and we hate it because every speck of dirt sticks to white paint. we have our eyes on new cabinets and as soon as we demo and rebuild our deathtrap deck and sunporch, it's on to new kitchen cabinets!

Hey your cabinets look great Dullberta is obsessed with black. We have new black counter tops black appliances black bar stools, black sink etc. Hope your family likes it because as they say "once you go black" ...... :)

That looks great! I've been wanting to paint our kitchen cabinets. But we rent. Hub has mentioned cleaning them up and re-spraying them (we have a cabinetry business), but I am going to grab some double sided tape and put up some black paper (or painted foam core board) on some of them and white on others and see which I like better, then talk to our landlord.
