What is IT?

If you have been reading the blog, you know that I went to see my friend Deborah on Saturday. Deborah gave Janet and I a tour of her house, which was built in the 1970's. In her kitchen there is this small little door. I asked her what was in there...and was surprised at what I found.
Soooo, what is your guess? There are some things around the door, a radio/light switch, an intercom, a mug, to give you an idea of the size of the door.
Leave a comment and let me know what your great guess is. I will tell you tomorrow what it is...and who the big winner is (though I don't have an actual prize, I guess it is bragging rights and a blog linky...unless I can come up with something in the meantime...)

Ok, here is a hint....the correct answer has not been given yet (6PM Tuesday night).

We had that intercom system in our house in Miami. And also in that house was a trash compactor.

My guess would be a laundry shoot or a bread container...

Hmm...I'll guess a butler. Or else a place to store frozen body parts. Either one.

I was going to go with laundry shoot.... but it seems that is taken.

I have no idea!
