Perhaps you heard the faint sound of TAPS playing ? If so, you were not mistaken. I am deeply saddened. My camera took a turn for the worse, quite literally, today. I was walking with it around my neck and it got hung onto the bed post when I passed by. It went one way, I another. It hit the floor. Hard. I scooped it up gently in my hands. I held my breath as I began moving the dial into different positions. It took one last extensionof the zoom lens and then "Please turn camera off and then back on again". It does nothing more than this. Though it is a material item, it is to me like an appendage. (Sniff, sniff). Another arm, if you will. Certainly, as a photographer I do have a back up camera. But is not the same. Not nearly. I plan to take it into the camera doc to get a second opinion. Cross your fingers. Please? I have scheduled appointments in the very near future. (sniff, sniff)

Hmmm. Hewy., You are correct. To many images could come to mind with the terminology in that post (and not only what you mentioned).
LOL.
Clarify. I was taking photos of actually-old photos. I hate scanning! Takes to long....
Note taken! Thanks! (smile)
