WoW Account Compromised

Oh, boy! Did you feel the earth shake? That was my husband, Big Daddy, and his reaction when he logged into his beloved World of War craft account to find a significant amount of gold missing. These are things that are above my head but I can say that he is irate, at the least. He has a "suspect". It seems that a boy in middle school got friendly with J Smooth, who is 7, on the school bus. Asking all kinds of questions, J Smooth relinquished the password to my husbands account. Smooth has been told over and over to NEVER give out that information. Bama even called and questioned the boy who denied involvement, but no one, NO ONE knew the password other than my children and J Smooth has fessed up in giving the info out. Big Daddy is not even home yet, the Earth quaking was his suppressed reaction to finding out. Looks like it will make out to be a interesting evening. Those that know the game may know how "important" gold is. Apparently is really is worth alot of money if you plan to sell your character on eBay, which can go for big bucks. Bama's friend sold his account for $650.00. Big Daddy curbed off a potential windfall by immediately changing the account password. I am to sign off now, need to get J Smooth into a witness protection plan so he can go "underground" before his Dad gets home.......

He can complain to a Wow representative and get the gold put back and find out who received it. Until then, a 12 yrs old just got their Epic flying mount!

My brother-in-law plays this game, so I'm kind of familiar with how important the gold is! Not a good thing, indeed.

Hey - love the new look! And I just added you to my blogroll so that I can remember to come read you on a regular basis!! I really like your blog!

Big Daddy did say that the kids level was a 56 thus he couldn't be the great epic flymount (you lost me Hewy). But BD said that he caught it and was just going to get over it. He was lucky to catch it when he did.
Lulu- you know more than me. I am clueless. Thanks for the blog roll ad and I appreciate your kind words!
