Thanks to Jean Carpenter for giving me a tip on a new batch of Wii's at Toys RUs in Hoover. I was there yesterday, to which there were none and was told they would receive a shipment early Sunday morning (for those who are still without). I was told the same thing at Best Buy across the street. Anyway, according to Jean, there was one left. I knew that it was not possible for me to drive from my house in time to fetch it and T-R-U was only allowing one per customer. I phoned my mom who quickly went in hot pursuit, albeit Jean beeped in on the other line and told me the last one was snatched by someone else. "That's it" said Toys R Us. Yet my mother, still in route, had some other shopping to do there. She immediatley went in and asked about them and was told there were 6 left......She just called told me that she got one!! I don't know what was up with T-R-U (perhaps a lack on communication among store employees), why they told Jean that the Wii's were all gone....I really don't care! Wii got one, wii got one! And it was only $250 vs that of individual prices on the internet. I am so doing a happy dance right now. I am just giddy. I can't stop smiling.Hurray!
Thanks readers for looking out for me. I couldn't believe the outpouring of information and help. You are all to kind-and certainly brewing over in the Christmas spirit of helping one another. My sincere gratitude to you all. Special thanks to Jean for the phone call. Jean-I got a paddle too! Wii-who!
