........*Just a reminder of the great festivals taking place, starting this weekend (see Sept Blog, October Festivals). I had the opportunity to go to Homestead Hollow today, the first day to be open. It opened at 9Am, which is when I got there, hoping to beat the crowds. Apparently the crowds had the same idea. Although the entrance line was long, it moved quickly. Entrance fee was $6 for adults, $3 for children 2-12, under 2 is free. Homestead Hollow runs through Sunday. There is alot going on this weekend, to mention a few The Bluff Park Art Show, Fall Festival in Centre, Highway 411 Garage Sale and the Southern Womens Show. Enjoy your weekend by getting outdoors!
