Spring is......springing!
My grandmother's double flowering daffodils are beginning to make their appearance....
As are the blooms on the pear trees.I noticed the buds on Friday, by Sunday the tree was enveloped in huge white blooms.
My neighbors daffodils are singing of springs arrival too:
With all of the excitement of nature's alarm, well....it got Big Daddy and I into the spirit. The excitement was contagious. We had freshly made pinacolada's on our deck (we lovingly refer to as the Bratina Cantina)
Cheer's to Springs arrival!
The children and Big Daddy and I all enjoyed eating supper together outside that evening on the deck. Big Daddy prepared a delicious meal on the grill: Burgers, Dogs and grilled pineapple for dessert.
I LOVE outdoor dining!
Hope Spring is or will be making it's way to your house soon.
Happy Spring, y'all!

What happy pictures! Can't wait to see those things here! :)
oh how nice! Bratina Cantina is open! Oh, even better!!! "LOVE"!! -HM
Now that's what I miss...no, not the pina colada (I get those year round), the spring flowers like daffodils, pear and apple trees, and dogwood. I first experienced these gorgeous blooms when I went to college in Macon. I would just walk around campus in a daze...gazing at the beauty. But then, hey...I've got the beach!!!
Jane (artfully graced)
Lovely pic Leigh! We're a few weeks behind you, but it won't be long-enjoy:@)
I can't believe this! Outside in t-shirt sleeves, flowers blooming, spring springing and it's ONLY THE END OF FEBRUARY!!!
Up here in the frozen tundra of the northland, we've still got snow every bit as deep as on my blog header picture!
No t-shirt sleeves for US 'Uns!!!
We're still wearin' long johns!
Grilled burgers and grilled pineapple! Oh my!
Hugs,
Kat
I took pics of flowers for my post today and inadvertantly used your title. Like minds I guess! Have a great day.
I am such a blogging slacker, but still lurk around here. Things are blooming in T'town too and it is beautiful!!
If you're ever this way send me an email and maybe we can do lunch or something.
Hurray for spring!
I've got just a few bits of green sticking their noses up out of the ground so far, and I don't even know what they are yet, they're so tiny. I'm thinking daffodills, but I think I have a few crocus left out there too.
Hey!!! Ask Big Daddy, Why I wasn't invited??!!!!!!!!
Love Mom
Love all of the pictures. Cooking and dining out sounds nice. We don't have room on the porch for a table and chairs but we may wear our swing out :)
Love ya Leigh!
The Bratina Cantina! Love it!
This post is perfect for my Garden Party blog hop! I would absolutely love for you to link up with me tomorrow, Leigh! :)
