Summer Staple Pieces for Your Closet

A new summer wardrobe doesn't have to be expensive. But it should be versatile! I love these designer looks at thrifty prices!

The search is over for the perfect summer dress and it comes with a head-shaking, I-can't-believe-it's-only-$18 price tag! One of the latest designs by Norma Kamali for Walmart, this soft cotton button-down has a forgiving cut, hits just above the knee and is belted at the waist. Finish the look with these four cute accessories.(Cap-sleeve shirtdress in blue stripe, $18; walmart.com)  Dress it up or down!

Protect your eyes from summer sun with shades from Liz Claiborne.
(Dorothy sunglasses in tortoise, $36; Safilo USA (800) 631-1188)

Bracelet
This bracelet offers a whole lot of statement at a small price.
(Hammered metal cuff, $4; CharlotteRusse.com) My friend Trina of XOXO, Trina turned me onto Charlotte Russe, now I am a bug time fan!

Gladiator Wedges
Try this comfy gladiator wedge, which can take you to brunch or the farmer’s market in style.
[Gladiator wedges in cognac, $29.99; Cynthia Vincent for Target, Target.com]

I love these great pieces to incorporate with existing pieces in my closet!

Hey Leigh. Thanks for posting that dress. Believe it or not I have been really thinking about one in that style and really wanting one. This might be right up my budget. Next best thing to free.

Hugs...Tracy :)

I really like the dress and the price. I would go check it out, but don't think I have worn a dress in years. I am always in jeans or slacks.

I have always loved shirt dresses. Are they back "in"? COOL.

Yup, now I'll be heading to Walmart and hope that the Canadian store has that dress. Mind you, it'll be more than $18 but hopefully not too much more. Love that cuff as well.

Ya' know I'm not a dress gal, but that is cuteness! I might just have to wade through WM to check it out!

Oh goodness, I am so unstylish! I spill too much stuff on myself to ever wear white. I can't stand vertical in tennis shoes let alone, heels! These are all really cute though.
