Outdoor Wednesday-Plus a Reminder!

Welcome to Outdoor Wednesday!
It's spring break in my area. The kids are out of school and we mothers are left to come up with something entertaining to do each day. My friend, The Boss, organized a picnic at Cahaba Lily park. High Maintanence and Sweetness were both there too, with kids in tow.

It was quite chilly today, actually freezing after being in the outdoors for over two hours. But the kids didn't seem to notice. In fact, they had a blast playing on the trails and the playground, enjoying the time away from school and most importantly being with one another.

Sister Sledge captured some prisoners....

And then they all ran away.....
The whole gang....
BFF's.

I always wonder with the kids what days in their lives they will remember forever. The one they will think back on and remember the roasted hot dogs on an open fire or the time someone slipped in the mud and had to spend the rest of the day in the wet, mucky pants.
I think this will be one of those days for many of those kids.
