Outdoor Wednesday-Plus a Reminder!

Outdoor Wednesday is hosted by my friend, Susan of A Southern Daydreamer.

I shared on last week that here in Alabama we've had some great weekend  temperatures reaching almost 70 degrees. It looks like another one is in the future for us this weekend as well. I am taking full advantage of our weather by hitting the trails. This week I am sharing my walk at Aldridge Gardens. These are the scenes from the walking trail:

Scene: Ducks, Camillas in bloom, the trail, mockingbird on fencepost, tree hanging over water gives it's reflection, statue.

Thankyou for taking the time to stop by Takes from Bloggeritaville!

If you haven't already, be sure to enter the giveaway on Facebook. Details are in yesterdays post. You can find the Tales from Bloggeritaville fan page by clicking the FB tag on my sidebar. You have to be a Fb follower to enter. If you aren't, no worries!  I will soon be hosting a giveaway here too so stay tuned in!

I hope you will join us tomorrow for Thrifty Thursday, whether you link up or party hop, you're invited!

What lovely pictures! I totally adore the leafless tree shot - so barren, and yet so warm. Might I make a suggestion that you return this summer and photograph the same tree? I would love to see a before and after of this shot!

Gorgeous pics.

You know what I love about you? That you always go do things. You don't just sit at home to relax, you get out and go! And see! I love it and it inspires me.

I love the duck butts, Leigh! Great photo! And the camellias are gorgeous! My neighbor's relatively small bush has over 100 buds and blooms of the deep red camellia. I ma enjoying it so much!
Thanks for sharing your lovely photos.

Hi! Thanks for coming by to visit me! You have a fun blog and I adore all the pictures! Love the music too. I usually turn the sound off so I don't have to listen to other people's music but I really enjoyed your playlist and found a reason to browse around awhile just so I could keep listening.

Smiles,
Wendy

Great shots! Love the ducks, but I think my favourite shot is the one of the trail. I just love pictures of paths like that. :)

YOU took those shots?!? They are amazing! Really. What kind of camera do you use?
I too love the path way shot. You can see the depth in that one. Love the way you focused on the post and mocking bird and faded out the background. The color of the camilia is so rich.

I'm looking forward to my first spring back in the south!

Hey, thanks for stopping by...

Aren't ducks just the funniest when they fish with their tails straight up????

LOVE those close-ups of the flower stamens. Man, you can even see the loose pollen on the anthers!

Do you already have FLOWERS blooming down there, 'cause until today we still had SNOW on the ground. It's supposed to get close to 50 degrees today, the snow will vamoose.

Hi Leigh! It's me, Lulu. I've decided to reenter the blogging world after having been kidnapped by Facebook for an entire YEAR! I'm tired of writing in one-sentence statuses! Lulu must write!

Anyhow, I hope that you are doing well! The pictures of the pink flower are beautiful!

Great photos! I love this unplugged version of Old Blue Chair! This CD is my doing dishes music when I'm wishing I was somewhere other than at my sink doing dishes!

The upside down ducks remind me of a dodgeball-like game my brothers and sister played up against the garage with their faces to the wall. They called it "butts up". I'm so glad I was much older than them!
