Flashback & Foodie Friday

Today I am trying to get caught up. I visited all the participants and once again am astounded at the creativity out there. And the thriftiness. And the treasures! I thought I would showcase just a small sampling of the great thrifty Thursday participants who participated yesterday......

I reserved my standing O yesterday for Bonnie of Creating a House of Grace. Create she did. She spent less than $120.00 to decorate a bathroom in her home. $120.00, people! She also did a bedroom redo for less than $99.00!  And you must see what all she did! I applaud her and shared with Bonnie, that her  post is exactly what thrifting is about. Finding treasures and personalizing a space.  Save that $$  to get ahead in home payments and get out of a mortgage,  or a second honeymoon, kids educations....important ways to send money, but certainly  not stuff.  You don't have to spend a fortune to have a fabulous home.  And I have to say, the thrill of the hunt is half the fun! This was so well done. I LOVE it.

Meg of A Little Knick Knack shared this adorable way to display keys. She made this herself...cost of her project $3.50. Be sure to visit her blog to see how she did it and what she used.

Sherry of Creations from my Heart created the most wonderful thrifty creation. It cost very little but is priceless to it's recipient. Most touching.

Tiffany of LA*T*DA was crowned the upholstery rockstar of TT yesterday. Did you see the headboard she created?  A bed for a queen! And certainly a princess!

I love a Pottery Barn knock off. And so does Kari of UCreate. And I love Kari because she just decides what she likes (the mosaic glass artwork)....

and then she creates it!

That Kari....She's gonna go places in life. But she will always come home and have a fabulous and thrifty piece of artwork to look at, one that she herself made. Which makes it that much more fabulous! Kari. You are so cool!

It's no secret, I love Linda at Lime in the Coconut. I also love her style. Will you just look at this chair? It was already wonderful, but she gave it some sunshine happiness.

And I LOVE that chalkboard too. I am going to paint those words on a canvas!
See the transformation at her place by clicking her link above..

I want to introduce Wanda Lee of the Plumed Pen, Granny's Attic, as well as Elizabeth of I Heart Sunny Days  are both new to Thrifty Thursday. Elizabeth and Granny's Attic are both brand new bloggers.  I would like to welcome them all. I shared with them how fabulous and supportive bloggers are and continue to be to me. I hope that you will share the love with them and welcome them to the world of blogging and Thrifty Thursday.

One Cheap B*tch is making us wanna be's with her Dollar Tree Tea Towels. Created by herself, wouldn't these make precious gifts. She even customized a gift card! 2 Towels, $2.00

The Sassy Duo of Sassy Style crafted this cute carrots. And it looks so easy to create-I think even I can do it!

Thanks too all who linked up to Thrifty Thursday and sharing this week!

thanks for giving me such a nice compliment! You made my night! I appreciate all the work that you do on this blog! Always a go to place for inspiration!
PS-the carrots are super easy and you will make more than three! I forgot to mention-if you want a smaller carrot than the cone size-just cut off the top. It works beautifully!
