9 Bo Bice (appearing with Rock Candy) Well known for his stage appearances on American Idol, Bo Bice has been performing since he was a baby. Bo claims that he's been singing ever since he could talk. He had formal voice training in high school choir. He plays a number of musical instruments including the piano, guitar, bass guitar, and saxaphone. He does his own recording at home in his own studio. Bo, the soft spoken southern gentleman (who can belt out a rocking tune like no body's business), brought his Southern sensibility with him to the fourth season of Fox's long-running talent contest. In 2004, He brought American Idol and the world to his hometown of Helen, Alabam. Two members of the group Lynyrd Skynyrd surprised Bice during his trip home from Idol and performed "Sweet Home Alabama" with him in his home town of Helena, Alabama. Helena is happy to welcome back, our hometown boy and superstar, Bo Bice. (and the crowd goes wild)
I have mentioned Larry many times on my blog, the wonderful friend he was to many, the devoted husband he was to my friend Momma Joy and the wondeful father he was to his children and grandchildren, including his daughter and my close friend,"the Boss.". This is a day that means so much to the many whose lives were touched by Larry. He was a big beleiver in giving, be it his friends, family, community, and charity. He gave his money, he gave his time, he gave his heart. This concert is a way to extend his service, its a way to come together in celebration, it's a way to continue his vision of giving. I hope you will join me -and come ready to rock! Bo promises a wonderful show (Bo was also a close personal friend of Larry). Whether you want to come as a fan or come and volunteer, you are welcome to be a part! You can find all the information on the website, www.jamminatthejunction.org
