Show Me Your.....Roosters?!!

I am linking up to The Rooster party at Barbs Good Life.
I don't have to many roosters, but I will show ya what I've got...
This little rooster once was two.
For it was a set of salt and pepper shakers, though I never knew it as that. He came home with me from my grandmother's estate. I loved his color and thought he had spunk. He watched over the fiestaware dishes in my china cabinet.
I didn't realize how few roosters I had until after I signed up for this post. Apparently I am just a couple tail feathers shy from being a poultry free household. Forgive me rooster lovers.
I do have something though that I would like to sell rooster related.
I am one whose taste change often. I purchased these custom made curtains from an antique dealer at a decorator price tag. I was sucked in my their folk art charm. The antique dealer was also an interior designer and she was using them in her booth for display...just to perk up her space. I talked her into selling me the pair. She used three different fabrics to make them: a red and white polka dot pattern on top, a white muslin type fabric in the middle of the panel
and a black fabric with whimsical potted plants on it.
The "rod" is made from a stair rail, and on the end of each rod is a folk art chicken, Polka doted white and black.
I am wanting to sell the curtains. They are about 8 feet in length and about 4 feel wide, each panel (there are two). If anyone is interested, let me know. I don't know what to charge, make me a bid if interested.
My friend Diva had these two sweet cookie jar roosters at her mother's estate sale.
They were 10.00 each. I don't know f they found a home. If you are interested in purchasing a rooster , let me know, and I will inquire with Diva.
To see more roosters, shake your tail feathers on over to Barb's Good Life, where you will find many feathered fanatics, each wanting to show off their prized birds.
Thank you to all for participating in Thrift Thursday yesterday! I so appreciate your sharing and your friendship, and for that I am so grateful.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Leigh

Hi Leigh - It's not the quantity of roosters you have but the quality so I'd say your little guy fits right in. He does look like he has spunk. The curtains are very pretty but I'm not in need at this time. I'm sure they will get to a good home. Enjoy your weekend.

At least we played along right? I had ONE rooster to share. I had many more a few years - I really could have partied today :)

Have a great weekend Leigh.

I'm still making my rooster rounds!

We are also a bit "skinny" when it comes to roosters at our roost :o)

Love that you have the seasoned rooster from your grandmother!

Blessings & Aloha!
If you're not tuckered out...hope you stop by my rooster party :o)
