Today is Outdoor Wednesday! Outdoor Wednesday is hosted by the most gracious- Susan of Southern Daydreamer.. As the dog days of summer are drawing to an end, I find myself wanting to savor every last moment of summer. My friend Ms. Ann's front porch is a perfect place to take it in. Come on up, sugah, she won't mind. I'd love some company.
Take a seat in one of the rockers. I will go and make us a glass of lemonade to cool us off while we chat.
Oh, you say you just want to rest? Well then, you are welcome to go and lie on the porch swing.
Allow the summer breeze to lull you to sleep.
Summer flew by much to fast.....
My friend over at Cottage is celebrating her first blog anniversary..and she is giving the gifts. She is hosting a giveaway in celebration. Stop by, wish her a happy anniversary and tell her Leigh sent you! Thanks!
I invite you to join me tomorrow for Thrifty Thursday! Link up with your thrifty find of the week!
I look forward to seeing you. Thanks for stopping by, friend, leave me a roadmap!

I don't feel the end of summer so much as other people. I think not having children plays a big part in that - no one is going back to school, no back to school shopping or kids running off to college. It also stays pretty warm here in Northern FL for quite some time - sometimes all the way until the end of October.
I'd still like to sit on the porch and swing :) Thanks!
Thanks for the porch invite, it looks so cozy. I could lull my summer days away right....Robyn
A perfect porch to sit, rock & daydream.
I envy you that walk on the beach, that's my idea of heaven.
Happy Wednesday.
Hi Leigh,
What an inviting porch! Summer does go way too fast. I'm like you, holding onto as much as I can of it. Hugs, Cindy
What a wonderful post...filled with the great [and best kind] Southern Charm!!!
My Outdoor Wednesday is photos of surfers/the Gulf Waters...come on over test the water temperatures!! I'd love to have your company today.
Oh, really lovely pictures. Have a nice day.

Summer did fly by far too quickly!
I love that porch. I looks like the perfect place to visit or do a little reading.
I think I will sit a spell; this is awesome. I like you feel the end of summer. Where did it go; I didn't get done or do all the things I wanted to do.
Nothing quite like sitting on the porch...love your beautiful photos!!!
What a wonderful porch!
I think my friend would find me camped out there many a morning with cups of coffee and danishes. Nothing wrong with buying forgiveness with food. Right?!

Hi and thank you for visiting my blog and your comment. Now, my outdoor Wednesday post was on my other blog. Maybe you would like to see that too:))Riet
Lovely porch and wonderful visions of spending the dog days of summer, there.
What a pretty place to rest.
Where has summer gone? Ours had late start so there's been little time to enjoy long, lazy days. I loved your post and enjoyed the scenes you painted for us with your photos. I hope you are having a wonderful day.
This is what my dream house looks like!!! Love your blog!
