This week I wanted to share some fun festivities that took place this past weekend.
Mine and Big Daddy's highschool classmate, John, invited us over for a campsite cookout.
The boys (J Smooth-who is my son, along with his pal, JM-John's son) were great grillers in preparing our marshmallows. Perfected roasted.
John's daughter, K, was a terrific chef. She prepared the smores using the standard chocolate with marshmallow, but also with butterscotch and peanut butter. I preferred those two over the chocolate, surprisingly!
It was great to be among old and dear friends.
And keeping on the theme of good friends...We spent time at Momma Joy's Pool (with the Boss and High Mae and their children, respectively) this past weekend as well.
The kids had a great time.....
Finally, and not an outdoor, but worth a mention, my friend "Happy Hour" celebrated her birthday with a girls night out at a local pizza place.

And, hope the day treats you well!!!
a campsite cookout, now what really can be better?!!!
Never heard of the butterscotch and peanut butter smores. They sound yummy though.
Love the Happy Hour sign and also your new playlist!
What a great time! I love this, Leigh.
S'mores...we have learned to love them made with Oreos instead of graham crackers...oops, bad, I know. But soooo good!
Have a happy day!

Leigh! Great post. Love all the pics. It felt like I was right there visiting too. I'll take one of those smores with the butterscotch. Yummy. Sounds even good at 6 in the morning. Love it. The pool pictures look so inviting. Makes you just want to jump in. Outstanding pics. Have a great day. Stop by and say hi. Country Hugs, Sherry
