I would be willing to "island hop" from "Bloggeritaville" to Queensalnd for 6 months as an "Aussie". I mean, it's for the best job in the world, who wouldn't?
Responsibilities include:
Explore and report back
There’s so much to see and do, so you’ll have plenty to write about in your weekly blog. And with so much life above and below the water, you’re sure to capture some entertaining moments for your video diary and photo gallery. To keep you busy, Tourism Queensland will organise a schedule of travel and events on the Islands of the Great Barrier Reef. Your schedule could include sampling a new luxury spa treatment at qualia on Hamilton Island, trying out new snorkelling gear on Heron Island, or bushwalking on Hinchinbrook Island.
Feed the fish
There are over 1,500 species of fish living in the Great Barrier Reef. Don’t worry – you won’t need to feed them all.
Clean the pool
The pool has an automatic filter, but if you happen to see a stray leaf floating on the surface it’s a great excuse to dive in and enjoy a few laps.
Collect the mail
You’ll have some time on your hands, so why not join the aerial postal service for a day? It’s a great opportunity to get a bird’s eye view of the reef and islands.

I am already working on my most authentic accent. And fortunately, I am more than willing to trade out a bit of sand in my craw for a paycheck as I snorkel the water and walk the beach. Ahh, sacrifices.

LOL Leigh I saw this on the news the other night, I think you would be awesome for this!
If you didn't get to go ( Ididn't either) to get your freebies, call and see if they still have some at any of the Belks, Macy's etc in the area. They are doing it for the next 7 days or until they run out.
See you FRIDAY!!!! Do we know who else is coming?
HEEHEE this will get your comment numbers up.... seriously I just forgot to say, BAMA is welcome to a position... no questions asked! Talk about it Friday OK?
I can only dream about a job that awesome! Sometimes I wish I could turn the clock back and do something like that.
That job looks great but I remember reading somewhere that the only problem with Australia is that every animal, snake, spider and fish over there.. wants to kill you :) some real weird stuff over there ??
BB- I asked today while at Belks about the settlement, It is indeed true, though they are not participating. She said that MAcy's is but she thought they had run out of stock. I didnt walk down to see. As far as dream job....Dullbert's comment is making me rethink the whole thing. I dont want to be another Jenn, spider woman.
Nicolle- For someone at the beginning of a career or end. Or in need of one- a great opportunity. And someone single.
Dullbert- You rain on my parade. Now I'm chicken....
WOW!!!! That would be sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo COOL!!!!!!
