Send a Soldier a Christmas Card

If everyone will participate in this awesome idea it would touch many hearts this holiday season.

GREAT IDEA!! When doing your Christmas cards this year, take one card and send it the address below. If we pass this on and everyone sends one card, think of how many cards these wonderful special people who have sacrificed so much would get. When you are making out your Christmas card list this year, please include the following:

A Recovering American Soldier
c/o Walter Reed Army Medical Center
6900 Georgia Avenue, NW
Washington,D.C. 20307-5001

And please, spread the word, lets support our troops!

Our church sent cards to Walter Reed last year, instead of sending each other a card. I took it one step more, I set cards out on a table at the shop and ask people to write a note to a soldier and then I mailed them all. We mailed about 50 cards....

Thank you all for your willingness. It is not only appreciated by me, but will be by a military person.
I think that is a fabulous idea Jerri had last Christmas to have your customers sign cards for Walter Reed (and you mail them). How wonderful! I think it so important not to forget our military families.
