SkyWatch

Jen at Dust Bunny Hostage told me about Skywatch, a great little meme sort of thing for those that like photography. Skywatch is hosted by Wigger's World. Skywatching is one thing I love to do. I think it was something that was shown to me, passed down , if you will, by my Uncle Freddy. I feel sometimes, that because he is "living up there" he might have a hand in some of the sky shows, perhaps? You know, like back in the "old days" when there was a guy running a projector reel at the theater. I think that may be his position up there. LOL! SO I dedicate all of my skywatch post to my Uncle Freddy.

Here is my "skywatch" contribution.

I captured this shot at the Guntersville State Park in Alabama

As beautiful as I have seen.

Guntersville is such a cool and quaint place. I will miss being so close! The combination of mountains and water are just wonderful. One of those examples of just what God can do.

Thanks for sharing Leigh and I am glad you like SkyWatch too. And Wigger's World couldn't be a nicer host!!

Be blessed my Fran!

Thank you for dedicating sky watch to my precious brother, Freddy. I cannot possibly explain to anyone what he meant to me. He was such a joy and so funny. He eductaed me on so many topics. He would have made a wonderful teacher as a profession.I thank God above for allowing us to be brother and sister and for choosing me to share our lives together. What a blessing he was to so many and touched so many with his life. Life had not given him a fair deal, but he dealt with it and made me love him even more. I was blessed with 48 wonderful years with him. Freddy, I know you would be so proud of your niece for remembering you with this sweet tribute.
Love you,
Mom

This reminds me of some of the sunsets I see from my uncle's house. We would always sit and watch the sun go down together before looking and finding Orion's Belt in the night sky. Every night, no matter where we both are, we find Orion and know that the other is looking at it too.

Aww, I just read the comment by Leigh's Mom.

I am so sorry that you miss your brother but I am thankful with you that you had him for as long as you did.

Amazing what we can see someone being capable of doing. My Dad is a high school drop out but if his life had been different, I think he could have taught school as well. I wonder if he and Freddy have similar personalities?

I am blessed that I still have my Dad, and I couldn't imagine being without him. I really am sorry for your loss.

You must be so proud of the person that Leigh is. She is a Dear person, and I imagine she blesses your heart daily!

Take Care.
