Questionarre for March 7, 2008

Question 1 what made you start your blog? A year ago, I hardly knew what a blog was. But I was online trying to find a web site relating to photography and adobe flash for my photography website. I came across a site on how to make a blog. I thought, hey, I will just see if I can make a homepage for a blog, to inspire me on the adobe flash thing. I also thought it would really impress my computer savvy husband. I don't know that he was impressed, but I was proud of myself. I had never done anything like it before (computer stuff). I have the most enjoyment of it. Something I never even thought I would do and did. I have "met" some really great people.

Question 2 Do you speak another language? I took French in highschool. I thought it would get me a trip to France. But I failed the first semester and quit. I know a *little* Spanish. I eat Mexican ALOT. I have made some friends in doing so and they have taught me some words. Whether than can be repeated, I don't know! I trust they are teaching me proper phrases and indeed what they are telling me I am saying....After I had Bama I went to UAB to try and get a certification in interpretation education. I took sign language for years (also when I was in Sarasota). I used to could sign very well. When Sledge was born though, I quit. It is one of those things that you really have to practise or you will forget.

Question 3 Morning person, or night owl (or somewhere in between)? I am a happy medium. I don't like to early, but I don't do to late either.

Question 4 Do you exercise on a regular basis? This has been a battle my whole life. I hate to do actual "exercises". I find it monotonous and boring. I am trying to be better. The older you get the worse weight and wear shows on a middle aged frame. I do love to ROLLER SKATE, ice skate, hike, dance, fish (??) oh! and play Wii! That's exercises, believe it or not. My new thing has been jumping rope to get my heart rate up.

Bonus Questions

Question 5 If money were not an object what is one thing you would like to do for another person? I would love to assist my cousin, who is struggling with medical problems, and could use the help financially. I would love to do something really special for my parents, who have done so much for me. Additionally, I wish I had extra funds, I would like to have a scholarship program, and provide youth an education. To see young minds grow. Those that otherwise wouldn't be able to go to college.

Question 6 What is one of your favorite attributes of our Lord God? Forgiveness and unconditional love, I know....that's two.

Question 7 Have you ever thought about adoption or foster care? Foster care, no but I have adoption. When I see shows about children that need a place to call home, parents to hold them and say they love them. But then I mention it to Big Daddy and he says, "We have enough on our plates". He is right. I would love to do this though.

Steve and I want to be foster parents.. Always have training when we have baseball!! UUGGHHHHHH I guess it is something I have always had in me.. I worked as a special education aide, and LOVED every minute of it.. I look at foster parenting the same way.. Many of those kids have issues that need people that have some understanding and patience..I have zero patience with my own kids it seems but the patience of Job with Special Needs.. Very weird.. lol

Michelle, You and Steve would be great at that. You are such a compassionate person. You have such good people skills, you'd be perfect. Something to consider, huh? I too do not feel I would be well enough equiped to be a foster parent. It takes some amazing people to do that. God bless them each and everyone.
To Know Him-thx for the confirmation. To you as well!

I think the Wii counts! I much prefer doing something that is exercising better than just exercising itself...if that makes sense.
