More Rambling....

.......................................................FYI~ I went to the bookstore today and purchased (finally) the book "90 Minutes in Heaven" (Thanks Joy & Sharon, for the recommendation). I looked for the 2 new books by Eric Clapton and Nikki Sixx,Respectively. Both books were out of stock. I am glad that both have kicked their drug and alcohol habits. I didn't think that the day would ever come for Sixx, in particlar, and am especially interested to read what it took for him to recover-for good.
I also purchased the forth edition book,"Coasting".My cousin, Gina and I are writing a similar book together that will feature jaunts in specific areas of the state. Things to do, places to visit, where to eat, etc. I also got the book,"Alabama Curiosities"....because naturally, I am curious..
It looks like a weekend of reading, and perhaps seeing where the Coasting and Curiosities books-and a tank of gas might take me. (I do have to pay for my jaunts by doing a couple photography sessions I have scheduled for this weekend.)
I mentioned the trees yesterday. I took this photograph in Helena of some leaves just on the brink of change. Also one of the Helena Landscape and Supply building. Greg (the owner) and his guys always make Helena Landscape look so inviting. One day I think I will just show up with one of my new books in hand and a cup of hot cider and sit on the porch and read. It also sounds like an inviting idea...

Judging from past experience if you do show up and sit on the porch it will take about an hour for someone to notice you.
