Thrifty Thursday #75, Plus a Tablescape

Hi! It's Thrifty Thursday! I am your host, Leigh. Thank you so much for stopping by and additional thanks to those who also participate in Thrifty Thursday! I am most delighted to have you join in..for it's YOU who makes it a "show and tell party". I also participate in Tablescape Thursday the host of that fun carnival is the Hostess with the Mostess...Susan of Between Naps on the Backporch. That's no lie or exaggeration, each week I visit Susan's porch and just long to be a guest at any of her tablescapes...especially those held on the porch.

(You can click on any pictures for a closer view)

*Thrifty Thursday takes place each Thursday and is hosted here at Tales from Bloggeritaville, but the party is a progressive one, visit the links to see all the Thrifty Thursday links to see the thrifty treasures participating bloggers have to share.

*Don't forget to copy and paste the Thrifty Thursday logo button to your computer so you can add it to your side bar and your Thrifty Thursday post. That way visitors will know that your are participating in Thrifty Thursday.

All this week I have been hosting an "Open House" sharing my thrifty decor with all of you. I've already shared my kitchen and my den/living room, today it's Big Daddy's home office.
The prints on the left of the window were both found in antique stores. The one on the right I puchased on sale at Kirklands years ago. It was on clearance. The two large ones on the opposite wall also came from Kirklands some time ago, also on sale. The curtains were a find at the thrift store for less than six bucks.

I shared the thrifty find in the corner, the one with feathers before. It too was a thrift store find, well the vase. I added the feathers that I found at Wrapsody (a store in Hoover). They were Halloween Clearance. I don't care. I liked them. But the best thing in this room....my sweet pups. They make it their own space. They allow us to live here, as you can tell.

Today is also which is hosted by Susan of Between Naps on the Porch.
I got the beach on my mind today and thought I would create a tablescape to fit the mood.

Some of my white thrifty dishes, some of my fiestaware and complimented with some fish dishes and colorful napkins from my favorite store, At Home in Homewood.

Thanks to all of you for stopping by and participating in today's Thrifty Thursday.
I am also linking today to Linda's Coastal Charm.

Please use Mr. Linky below to link up your blog. Please leave a comment after linking. I love to hear from you.I encourage you all to spread the love and visit the other thrifty Thursday participants, for that's what half the fun is. Aside from seeing a cool treasure it's making friends!

I invite you to come back here tomorrow for a look at the Worlds Biggest House Party post: The Neshoba County Fair.
And on Monday, I cannot wait to share with you my bedroom in my next Open House segment. And a teaser...Big Daddy's favorite thing in it is a stick!

Also, Foodie Friday tomorrow on my recipe blog, Plates and Places.
Thank you, all, FRIENDS! I appreciate YOU!
HUGS! Hope to see you tomorrow, but not before you leave some "roadmap" love!

I am loving your open house segments. The power has been off and on here for days so computer time has been weird. I want to come back when I know I can read it in one sitting.
Our house is the same - the pets allow us to live here and wait on them.
Even though I talk about a different meme in my post this week, no one can replace you in my bloggy heart.

I really like the colors that you've combined for your tablescape. The taupe works great with the orange and the blue. Your fish plates are charming. Thank you for sharing your design. Cherry Kay
