Thrifty Thursday #64, Plus a Beach Inspired Tablescape

Hi! It's Thrifty Thursday! I am your host, Leigh. Thank you so much for stopping by and additional thanks to those who also participate in Thrifty Thursday! I am most delighted to have you join in..for it's YOU who makes it a "show and tell party". I also participate in Tablescape Thursday the host of that fun carnival is the Hostess with the Mostess...Susan of Between Naps on the Backporch. That's no lie or exaggeration, each week I visit Susan's porch and just long to be a guest at any of her tablescapes...especially those held on the porch.

(You can click on any pictures for a closer view)

*Thrifty Thursday takes place each Thursday and is hosted here at Tales from Bloggeritaville, but the party is a progressive one, visit the links to see all the Thrifty Thursday links to see the thrifty treasures participating bloggers have to share.

*Don't forget to copy and paste the Thrifty Thursday logo button to your computer so you can add it to your side bar and your Thrifty Thursday post. That way visitors will know that your are participating in Thrifty Thursday.

My friend High Mae and I hit some garage sales last weekend. I love to luck up on those nieghborhood garage sales. Lots of buys, just park the car and walk. Greystone was where we found ourselves last week.  I again lucked up on some gently worn brand name clothes for my tween. But my find of the week came from the thrift store. It was this antique mirror.

It looks like the trim is ironstone, as are the flowers on the side.

It's not in perfect condition, far from it...but to me it's gorgeous!

Just look at the little ball feet!

It was a bargain at $2.88. I am going to hang it with a mirror grouping that I am mapping out in my house. I will share the mirror gallery with you when I get it up on my wall.
Tablescape Thursday
Now, onto to Tablescape Thursday, which is hosted by Susan of Between Naps on the Porch.

Pottery Barn was again was my inspiration for my tablescape this week too.Everything on the table can be found at Pottery Barn....or other bargain stores if you just keep your eyes open!

I invite you to stop by my food blog, PLATES & PLACES to register to win in my giveaway of a five inch Le Creuset's Square Dish in my favorite color of Caribbean Blue! You need not have a blog to win. Just leave your email address so that I can contact you. You must register at the Places and Places for eligibility.

Thanks to all of you for stopping by and participating in today's Thrifty Thursday.

Please use Mr. Linky below to link up your blog. Please leave a comment after linking. I love to hear from you.I encourage you all to spread the love and visit the other thrifty Thursday participants, for that's what half the fun is. Aside from seeing a cool treasure it's making friends!

Leigh, I have never seen a mirror like that before. I like the flowers- and who cares if there are some broken ones? That's what adds the charm! Looking forward to seeing it in your grouping soon.
I love the sea fans as chargers and the scallop shaped top plate. I've never done a "sea/beach- scape" table, so I'm truly inspired by those chargers! Thanks for hosting the par-tay.
