#20 of Thrifty Thursday

Hi there, my friends!! It's #20 of our Thrifty Thursday! Thanks for dropping by! I really appreciate all of you playing along in Thrifty Thursday. It is enjoyable to see what treasures all of you find. Not to mention the biggest treasure-meeting you and discovering some fabulous blogs! That's the best part!
And guess what? It's also Tablescape Thursday!
A quick recap of Thrifty Thursday, for those who may be new to the idea....Thrifty Thursday is a show and tell of sorts. It is time for you to showcase your thrifty find. It can be an old find or a new one. It might be something that you found at a thrift store, a consignment store, flea market, garage/yard sale, dumpster diving, even antique stores. It's it was a thrifty find, then it meets the requirements. I am not picky, It can be a great pair of boots & a killer vintage dress, jewelry, home decor, even fishing lures. It is your thrifty find.
Tell me about it.Where did you find it? What is it? What do you plan to do with it or how do you plan to use it in your home? Do you want to sell it?Thrifty Thursday's are about the thrill of the hunt...and the treasure you found. So....do show and tell!
This week I made a trip to my local thrift store and could've done a back flip when I came across three outdoor cement pieces priced at a steal!
I picked up this cement angel for $3.88. The large cement planter for $5.88
The picture does not do it justice. The planter is about a foot long at least.
I am planning to plant lavender, Texas sage and red and purple trailing verbena in it.
I also purchased this large cement urn for $5.88. I planted salvia in it.
There was a group of ladies in the outdoor area where I found these items, they walked away with two more of the urns. My poor buggy was wobbling down the isle as I made my way to the checkout. And granted, I did have to take some prescription strength naproxen that evening after lifting these pieces, but I wasn't about to leave them behind!
After my porch post earlier this week and my thrift store finds, I have been busy working in my yard this week. I have some things to share tomorrow. One, a teaser....is a project that I did after being inspired by Rue 's Peanut Butter and Jelly Life.
Be sure to grab a button and link back with your direct hyperlink.
Link back to this post in your Thrifty Thursday post.
Tablescape Thursday is hosted by the ever gracious and lovely Susan of Between Naps on the Porch. I have to be honest, my computer is giving me fits. I had a tablescape that I wanted to share, using another thrift find...I purchased a hassle of fiestaware recently at a garage sale for all of $5.00. I so wanted to share those with you, and plan to in an upcoming post.
In the meantime, I have an inspiration tablescape. It's a sunny breakfast table. Simple and bright using yellow tablecloths and linen napkins. Cereal and fruit is served in white ironstone bowls along with a cup of sunshine in the form of OJ. A pretty yellow orchid is a perfect centerpiece.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Be sure to link up-but today by leaving your direct link in the comments. I will also be putting the direct links within the post, since Mr. Linky is no longer being friendly. Please be sure to visit other Thrifty Thursday participants to see what treasures they found.

I look forward to seeing your Thrifty Thursday!!

I love those urns. You are a very good shopper. I love your sunshine yellow table too. It is so happy. Aside from the tablescape I love the table. I would love to find something like that at a Thrifty price. I'm not that lucky. Have a great day, and sorry you have to deal with Stinky Mr. Linky.

Oh my, what a delicious looking breakfast and wonderful tablescape. Sunny for sure!

What a great deal for the concrete planters. I can't believe those fabulous prices. So pretty!

Hello Leigh! You got a FAB deal on those planters. Goodness, some of those can go for $50 or more. I was fortunate at our last home, that the previous owners left the planters :)

I think the walls are yellow in this sunny tablescape - all of the yellow makes the whole place incredibly cheery. Love the touch of red in the strawberries in the cereal!

I love cement and what a price on your treasures. Aged cement is even better! Husband is not as fond of cement as I -- he has to tote == I just point!
