Look at what I found! On Wednesday night, before the rains came, this little guy was outside my door hunting for a good meal. I hope he found it! Love frogs, do not like bugs...Isn't he cute?
I think you are correct , he is a toad. I just call them all frogs-like here in the south everything is a coke. He's a cutie though. Actually I think he is the same one I had from last year. He would bury himself under my shrubbery and come out at night to eat.
Very cool...and..wet, and slimey.
ReplyDeleteHe's very interesting, but are you sure he isn't a toad? His skin looks rather warty to me.

ReplyDeleteHey - - - when we lived in SC years ago, a FEW really genuine southerners called their cokes "dopes!" Have you ever heard that one?
ReplyDelete(They said it was a carry over from the days when the original coke actually had drugs in it)
Keetha-I have heard of that term, though I have never used it. It is not something I often hear.
ReplyDeleteWell there is some Tom Boy or something in you Chick, cause I just couldn't pick that thing up. But wow, I am impressed that you did!

Love it! As soon as the sun goes down I can always find at least 2 of them on my porch. Last night there was even a baby...
