I had my nieces spend the night last night. Sadly we didn't have time for the Family Dance Contest. I had my own dance class with Chesney and Flo. Flo had a treat for me. She cleaned out her closet. I love it when she does that because I (and friend Kym) reap the benefits. I got a killer new hat and some stompin' new boots, to name a few. I began strutting around the house getting sneers and looks (or envy most certainly) from the children and hubby as my boots jingle-jangled an intimidating little tune. Going back to the Family Dance Night, where these boots could be an advantage.....
I have been told that my youngest niece (age 3) would be a shoe in to win. That remains to be seen---and we shall see. I am going to video a portion of the next challenge.
The kids were all good last night. Of course they were after getting a look at my bad boots.
I took the kids to feed the ducks at Joe Tucker and then onto the playground, where half of Helena also took their children for one last romp and a final attempt to wear out children for the day. While there I ran into my good friends (who I adore to the core) Kym and Momma Joy. It was great to see them both because we have all been so busy of late. A girls night is in the works......
